A shocking report released this morning by the World Climbers Association found that the number one cause of death for experienced and non-experienced Mount Everest climbers was deciding to climb Mount Everest in the first place. "We've seen these statistics before, but nobody seems to listen. They just keep on scaling up that massive rock and people are still baffled when they don't return," exclaimed Anti-Climbing Safety guru, Jean Archambault. "Here's an idea - stay home," he said. The report also indicated that if Mount Everest climbers wanted to not die, all they had to do was choose any one of the millions of extra-curricular activities known to man and they would almost certainly live to see another day. "Playing chess, watching a new television show, roller-blading - hell, I'd even settle for alpine skiing! You pick ANY of those things and you probably won't freeze to death at 20,000 feet," added Archambault.
